About Dr. Yousra Ahmed
Yousra Ahmed earned her MBBCh from Alexandria University in Egypt, where she developed early clinical training in pediatric surgery. She is currently pursuing a research fellowship at ASPIRE Lab, conducting translational research focused on validating physiology-driven, autonomous closed-loop resuscitation systems for hemorrhagic shock, with a special emphasis on field-deployable technologies for austere and resource-limited settings. Her clinical interests include emergency medicine, trauma surgery, and operational medicine. Her broader research experience includes biomedical-device validation and diagnostic technologies for cancer detection in rural settings.
